Summer says: A friend of mine, GutterKitty, asked for a Dais (from Ronin Warriors) icon. Now, granted, Dais never says this, but he -is- the Warlord of Illusion. I thought it was rather fitting, ya know.

Summer says: This is a Cale, Warlord of Corruption and Decay, also known as the Demon of Darkness, icon. Ya gotta feel for this guy. His Kanji is that of obedience, and his animal to call is the Jackal. The season he represents is Winter. At any rate, I'm a Masho-lover, and feel that the bad guys to this story weren't so much 'bad' per se, as misled. And Cale was loyal and obedient till the end, which says something. He didn't want to believe that his master of over hundreds of years would use him. He was very idealistic. Ya know, for a murdering, Neather World Warlord.

Summer says: This is an actual quote from Anubis. Granted, he was talking to Lady Kayura, but still. I think the wisdom here comes from his own lived experience. He had a chance to -be- somone when he was younger, a simple warrior in his home village, but he gave that up for greed. Sure, there is the connotations here about fallen angels and how they'll never be redeemed completely, but there's more than that. Plus, it's my favorite 'nubis quote, right up there with "QUAKE WITH -FEAR-!!"

Summer says: Sekhmet is truly one of the least stable warlords. That being said, he doesn't suffer from insanity; he enjoys every minute of it. He's supposed to be half snake, so I imagine there's a perfectly reasonable, biological explanation for his insanity. That, for over 400 years of bloodletting, caused his mind to snap like a dry twig. *shrugs* Who knows?

Summer says: Kento of Hardrock's kanji is 'justice', and while he is not the brightest by any stretch of the imagination, he is one of the most caring. He easily accepts the role of 'big brother' to Yuli when the kid discovers he has lost his family. Most fanfic writers make him either a total doofus or ignore him completely. Personally, I think Kento needs more love.
