    Series/Manga: "Kizuna"

Summer wanted a "Kizuna" icon, specifically for Masa/Kai, which is my favorite pairing from the manga. How totally fucking cute is Chibi Kai? I could just die from the cute.

    Series/Manga: "Gravitation"

Every time I did a search for "Gravitation" on eBay, a poster for this quote by Albert Einstein came up. I went with an "Adult Swim" thing again. And yes, Socrates was executed for his beliefs.

    Series/Manga: "Street Fighter"

In an LJ meme, I offered to make icons for folks who responded. The catch was I got to choose from their LJ interests for my icon subject. This was for Summer. I chose Ryu/Ken. Because there's just not enough "Street Fighter" yaoi out there. And I thought the definition thing would be humorous.

    Seiya

Summer says: I think I'm in a minority for loving this pairing, but... dudes, they're so blatant! Brotherly love only goes so far, and these two crossed the line. Which, is okay. Shun is sweet and caring and a total cry-baby, and needs Ikki to help him and to keep him strong. Ikki needs Shun because he needs some emotion other than hate to help him get through life.

    Series/Manga: "Thundercats"

Summer says: This is WilyKat from Thundercats, when he's all growded up and living under Mum-ra's... loving... care. He and his sister are Mum-ra's slaves. And boy, I hope they live in the desert because the outfits that old creep gives them are awfully drafty.

Summer says: Bengali is a sweety, he really is, but not what Tygra needs. Tygra needs someone strong, and forward, and... well... a top, just like Bengali does. So, Panthro needs to choose who he's going to top. I guess he does... in the end.

    Crazy Cool Vega

Summer says: Because Vega is. Utterly. Cool. I mean, sure, he's a total psychopath with delusions of body perfection, but dude, he -is- rather pretty. A total bishounen, even though he does have all those rippling muscles.

    Justice Joe

    Series/Manga: "Gatchaman"

    Made by Summer Starr
Summer says: All must bow before the sexiness that is Condor Joe (though he’s not my fave, believe it or not). For those not in the know, the Condor was born Sicilian, from parents who were and were not working for the Galactor. His parents were killed by a Rose Assassin, and ever since then, he’s done his best to kill as many Galactor as he can. For him, it’s retribution for all the suffering they’ve caused.

    Living Shadow

    Series/Manga: "Gatchaman"

    Made by Summer Starr
Summer says: Gatchaman Ken is known as the 'White Shadow'. Joe is Ken's polar opposite. When Ken is level-headed, Joe is hot-tempered. When Ken is off and running half-cocked, Joe is the voice of restraint. However, no matter how much they push each other and at each other, Joe always remains a close constant to Ken, even though Joe is supposed to be the broody loner. The caption is a very true statement; you can't push a shadow away. Plus, with my fondness for 'old school', this is yet another old school OTP.
